Just In! The Australian Bitch & Evil Wines!

Pure Evil Chardonnay

Its beautiful creamy nose and full and rich flavor and palate feel is incredible, considering it is only barely kissed by French oak; and the beautiful, lush tropical fruits first appear in the nose, then glide over the palate into the elegant, tapering finish. This is incredibly rich for a kissed-by-oak Chardonnay I’ve tasted, especially at the price. Evil Chardonnay is more than a clever name, it’s a great Chardonnay, don’t miss it!

Bitch Barossa Grenache Tropical Breeze

Bitch, a provocatively named 100% Grenache from R Wines, achieves the potential of this difficult-to-grow grape. Winemakers Chris Ringland and Lisa Wetherell use fruit from the Barossa Valley in South Australia. Yields from the 25-year-old vines grown in sand over clay are modest, 3 to 5 tons an acre. Ripe quince and lifted spice with a rich juicy concentration, along with intensely perfumed characters come from the sandy loam soil, and dark berry characters from the heavier red-brown soils. Life may be a bitch, but this wine will keep the complaints away, at least while you're drinking it!

Evil Cabernet

Evidence of a very Down Under twist of fate, this wine is anything but evil. What could be nicer than top-rate Cabernet fruit from some of South Australia’s best regions made into a voluptuous wine by Chris Ringland and, it’s all wrapped into an edgy package at a steal of a price? Evil is: 100 % Cabernet from 10 to 30 year old vines. Fruit came from three distinctly different regions: 38% McLaren Vale, 37% Barossa, 25% Pyrenees.
